AUSLMAT Pedal Sri Lanka

Duration : 13 Nights / 14 Days

Period : 18th to 31st August 2025

Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey across the stunning landscapes of Sri Lanka while making a meaningful difference! Pedal Sri Lanka 2025 is an exhilarating charity cycling tour that brings together cycling enthusiasts, adventurers, and medical professionals for a cause that truly matters.

More than just a cycling event, Pedal Sri Lanka is a mission to create positive change. Participants will cycle through ancient heritage sites, lush tea plantations, breathtaking highlands, and serene coastal roads, immersing themselves in the island’s rich cultural tapestry and natural beauty. Visits to hospitals, schools, and local communities will provide insight into Sri Lanka’s diversity while making a tangible impact.

This unique charity ride is combined with the annual Australia Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team (AUSLMAT) medical mission, ensuring participants not only experience the island’s beauty but also contribute to vital healthcare initiatives. As part of the mission, donated medical equipment and supplies are delivered, alongside hospital lectures, ward rounds, and clinics in remote areas and orphanages. Doctors, medical students, nurses, and supporters from various backgrounds volunteer their time, covering their own expenses so that 100% of donations directly fund medical equipment and essential supplies.

The ride is designed for cyclists of all skill levels, ensuring an inclusive and rewarding experience. For adrenaline seekers, optional Pekoe Trail Treks offer an extra challenge. Participants can cycle, e-bike, or travel by tour bus, making the journey accessible to everyone.

The Australia Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team (AUSLMAT) is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and listed on the ATO’s Deductible Gift Register (DGR), making all donations tax-deductible in Australia. Since 2004, AUSLMAT has transported over $8 million worth of medical equipment to Sri Lanka, providing life-saving healthcare and medication to thousands.

By joining Pedal Sri Lanka 2025, you’re not just embarking on an adventure—you’re riding for a purpose. Funds raised will provide resuscitation equipment for children’s hospitals and improve education facilities in underprivileged areas. Every pedal stroke contributes to transforming lives and building a brighter future for Sri Lanka’s children and communities.

As a charity fundraiser, each participant will be expected to raise USD 750 in donations. Australian donations are tax deductible.
